This is to acknowledge that I have received a copy of the CREST Employee Handbook. I understand that it contains important information on the current policies and practices of CREST and the at-will nature of my employment with the Company. I agree to familiarize myself with all the materials in this Handbook, including, but not limited to, CREST's policy on sexual harassment and discrimination, and to consult with the Company President or Vice President if I have any questions.
I understand that the policies, benefits, and operating procedures set forth in the handbook are not a contract, and I understand that they are not intended to create, or to be construed to create, any contract, agreement, or legally binding obligation between the Company and me. I understand that I am employed on an at-will basis, which means I can resign my job at any time and the Company can terminate my employment at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. I further understand, however, that no one other than the Company President may change the at-will nature of my employment with CREST, and then only in a document signed by me and the Company President.
I acknowledge that the Company may change, suspend, or discontinue any or all of the handbook's policies, benefits, or procedures (except the Company's At-Will Employment Policy) at any time in its sole discretion. I agree that CREST will make all final decisions as to the meaning and application of all of CREST's policies, benefits, or procedures. I acknowledge and recognize that this handbook supersedes all prior or existing policies and procedures of the Company.
I further acknowledge and recognize that a violation of these policies and procedures can, at the discretion of CREST, result in disciplinary action up to and including termination, or in certain situations, to my being held personally liable for my actions.
